Tradition dating back to 1704

First written records of our house - formerly called "the Neue Post" - originate from 1704, by which time the house was already an inn. In 1935 our grandparents from Pfarrwerfen bought the Gasthof Neuwirt – which, as was typical in those days, attached to a small piece of farming land. Through much hard work and effort a very nice, reputable hotel was created.

The Neuwirt became the centre for village events and everyone got together around the kitchen table.

To meet the demands of our guests, we have invested continuously over the years and in 1997 the Neuwirt was transformed into a wonderful, comfortable **** hotel.

It is particularly important for us in this hectic and fast-moving world to provide a holiday haven, offering a feeling of harmony and comfort.
Thus tradtition and future make a harmonius unit, which we will continue to carefully preserve.
